This User Agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the terms and conditions under which you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) may access and use the services and website provided by North Star Appliance Repair (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website or booking our services, you agree to this Agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to request services from us. By booking a service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.


3. Services

We provide professional appliance repair and related services. Service availability is subject to technician scheduling and coverage areas. All appointments are confirmed via phone, text, or email.


4. Fees and Payment

  • Service call fees and repair costs will be disclosed prior to service.
  • Payments must be made upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept major credit cards, debit, and other forms of payment as listed on our website.

5. User Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking services.
  • Ensure access to the appliance and a safe working environment.
  • Pay all service fees in accordance with the invoice provided.

6. Warranties

  • We provide a 1-year warranty on parts and a 180-day warranty on labor, unless otherwise specified.
  • Warranty does not apply to damages caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs, or unrelated issues.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability for any claim related to services is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Cancellations

  • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Missed or late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (logo, text, images, design) is the property of North Star Appliance Repair and may not be used without our written consent.


10. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.


11. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to any user who violates this Agreement or engages in abusive, illegal, or fraudulent activity.


12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Ontario.


13. Changes to Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
